British Horse Feeds Fibre-Beet is a conditioning feed with a carefully formulated combination of Speedi-Beet and alfalfa supplemented with biotin, sodium and calcium.
You’ve got all the benefits of Speedi-Beet with its high level of easily digested soluble fibre for slow energy release, along with low starch and sugar.
The alfalfa provides quality protein containing essential amino acids for muscle tone and function and the oat fibre provides a complementary nutrient profile. Fibre-Beet is designed to be fed wet which is the most natural way to feed your horse.
Fibre-Beet can be fed in larger quantities than Speedi-Beet and so is a superb conditioning feed and is ideal for those needing or preferring to control starch intake. In fact, if your horse is in light work, Fibre-Beet, and a balancer plus good quality forage is all you need for a fully balanced diet.

So convenient to prepare!
Add 1 part dry Fibre-Beet to 3 parts water by weight.
So ½kg of dry Fibre-Beet would require 1½ litres of water.
Add more water to make a sloppier mash if you want to encourage rehydration.
You can prepare in advance if you wish, but store in cool conditions and feed within 24 hours of soaking.

My 9-year-old eventer is fed on Fibre-Beet which keeps him hydrated when I dilute it after an event in the summer, and it is also now helping him keep hydrated whilst he is on box rest. I find it a great product as it isn’t heating, so it is fab for his digestion whilst he is stabled.

I have been using your feeds since having my pony. I initially was feeding Speedi-Beet for the gut health benefits and then when I went to Your Horse Live, I got to speak to one of your reps on the stand. I explained that she was a fizzy and fussy eater that was also a poor doer and that I really struggled to keep weight on her. I was recommended to try the Fibre-Beet, and I haven’t looked back! It is brilliant that alfalfa is in the feed, so I could change her chaff to something more palatable and she has never eaten so well! She has kept most of the weight on during any winter I’ve had her, which has meant I could carry on showing over the winter and she was still winning her championship classes! I highly recommend it as a feed!
