Meet The Team

Hattie I’Anson

International Business & Strategic Lead Manager

I have been involved in our parent business for as long as I can remember. From sticking on labels in the warehouse to helping at shows, I have done it all! I started my career at I’Ansons and The Golden Paste Company (GPCo) in October 2017. Prior to this I graduated in International Business Management with Spanish and then went to work in recruitment for two and a half years. After gaining these transferable skills I decided it was time to join the family business, I am very proud to be part of the fifth generation!

I head up the team here at GPCo. I am involved with all aspects of the business including new product development, both online and offline sales, marketing and more recently exploring our export markets.

I love my job and the people that I work with. The team is so hard working and down to earth. I also enjoy hearing about how our products have helped people or their animals. Outside of work I enjoy travelling, outdoor activities, yoga and meditation.

Branca Gebbie

Business & Trade Manager

I joined The Golden Paste family from the world of business and workplace supplies, my role is to effectively manage all aspects of The Golden Paste Company and ensure our products continue to support animals and people to lead active and healthy lifestyles whether that be hooves, paws or feet!

Our natural and organic supplements are made only from the highest quality ingredients, specifically formulated for maximum absorption and bioavailability. It’s been really interesting hearing about how our products can make such a difference to the lives of people and animals hence needless to say that me, the dog and the horses are all feeling the benefits of our Turmeric capsules, TurmerEase and TurmerAid supplements.

Having owned and been around horses and dogs from a very young age, my time now away from work is normally spent chauffeuring my daughter and her pony around to different venues as she participates in all Pony Club activities and competitions whilst trying to find time to fit in and ride my own horse as well!

Sarah Chantrell

Business Development Account Manager

I am proud to have joined The Golden Paste Company, a division of the I’Anson family business in 2024 as Business Development Account Manager. I have experience working alongside sister company, British Horse Feeds products for nearly 10 years and am thrilled to be joining the team.

I take pride in establishing strong working relationships
from wholesalers and retailers to yards and pet owners. I love the variation of being on the road, meeting new people and not only promoting the brand but also helping to educate about the importance of optimum nutrition. I get a real buzz from having complete confidence in the products and seeing first hand experience of them contributing to the overall health of the animal and in return helping their owners achieve their goals.

My passion for farming and horses is deep rooted having
grown up on a farm and riding from a young age. Outside of work I am always on the go from, renovating our family home, competing my horse, attempting to train my two cocker spaniels and developing my CrossFit skills in the gym!

Martin Bielby

National Accounts Sales

Having left school, I attended college and studied engineering after passing my exams. I left to pursue a lifelong ambition to work in horse racing and became a jockey after working for various racehorse trainers, where I rode over hurdles. I had a couple of rides on the flat however, at 8 stone 10lbs it was a struggle! I retired from the saddle and took a position at The Northern Racing College as an Instructor. My role developed to Senior Training Instructor/NVQ Assessor and Verifier for the Racing Industry. After this I became a racehorse trainer. I trained for around five years, until I discovered the world of sales. I have been employed by I ‘Anson’s for almost 13 years now and I have always felt part of the family.

I love all aspects of my role and enjoy meetings with customers, old and new. My days are really varied from meeting wholesalers and retailers, to attending shows and visiting yards.

Outside of work I enjoy travelling the world with my wife and the occasional game of golf. Not a lot of people know this but at one stage I was leading Trainer at Newmarket with a better winner to runners’ ratio than Sir Henry Cecil.

Kirsty Holmes

Area Sales Representative (South East)

My passion for horses nutrition and optimising gut and digestive health stems from a lifelong love of horses having had ponies since I was the age of three to never growing out of them!

As a proud owner of three horses, including two that I personally bred, I aspire to compete in show jumping and dressage with my homebred horses.

Part of my role involves visiting feed and pet stockists as well as wholesalers in the south east of England but I also like to offer my expertise to everyday horse owners, whether it be at yards or competition venues, on the benefit of fibre feeding regimens, or addressing common gastrointestinal issues as I wholly believe that a balanced diet is the foundation for a horse's overall
health and performance.

So, if you spot me in my Golden Paste and British Horse Feeds branded truck don’t hesitate to come speak to me, I’m always happy to help or give me a wave as you pass me on the roads!

Outside of horses I have kickboxed since the age of eighteen but do enjoy keeping fit in general and running. Other than that, sleeping!!

Kirsten Baul

Office & Logistics Manager

I have worked at The Golden Paste Company for seven years and love seeing our products make a real difference to customers, human and animal. I love my job and the amazing team. My role is very varied, managing our office, customer service team and logistics but also organising and attending shows and coordinating new product research.

I have always been involved with my family’s dairy farm and have owned and competed horses all my life. My main focussed discipline is eventing, which I own my eight-year-old ISH Leo, who enjoys his daily TurmerAid to keep his joints healthy after those cross country runs.

Not leaving out my cockapoo, Boo, who enjoys our tasty TurmerEase slices to support her active lifestyle! I’m at my happiest when spending quality time with my animals and friends.

Hannah Elsworth

Customer and Sales Coordinator

I am a keen horse rider and the owner of 20-year-old, Geordie, who I enjoy spending time schooling and hacking him.

Before joining The Golden Paste Company in summer 2020, I focused my career on customer service and have worked in both the country clothing sector and in equine nutrition.

Geordie has TurmerAid daily and my dog, Ozzy, also uses the pet range so I know first-hand that the products are excellent.

I have always enjoyed working in customer service and at The Golden Paste Company I am involved in many aspects of the business which is really varied and interesting.

Kev Jones

Warehouse Manager

I have worked for I'Anson Bros for nearly 30 years. For about 20 years, I was involved in the planning and supervision of the micronizing department and the remainder of my time was spent running the machines. I now look after the distribution warehouse. My daily duties cover everything in and out of the warehouse and the hygiene aspect of warehouse management.

My interests outside of work are travelling, golf and I also like to run when I can fit it in. I have two daughters who have each given me a grandchild, a boy and a girl, and I love to spend as much time with them as possible.

Dr Tom Shurlock

Nutrition Consultant

After completing an agricultural nutritionist degree at Newcastle University, followed by a Ph.D. from Leeds University in 1980, Tom worked as a commercial nutritionist, firstly with a national feed compounder and then with a premix company.

In 1996, after a spell in technical sales, Tom became a freelance nutritionist and started working with The Golden Paste Company on their new product TurmerAid™. Although having nutritional roles with other companies, companion animal species and exotics, Tom is mainly involved in the development, technical appraisal and support of GPC products and customers across the world. The development of bioactive involvement across the ranges has added new depths to the understanding of the companies’ product ranges.

Tom & his wife live in the Yorkshire Dales, knee deep in animals, where they are resurrecting a 17th century farmhouse and hunting for treasure along the old drover trails.
