Over the summer months prolonged periods of dry weather can make natural surfaces hard and compacted which can increase concussion to the horse’s limbs. Hard ground has a higher impact resistance so the energy transmitted from the horse is not absorbed to the ground, increasing concussion up the limb. The Golden Paste Company Support National Veteran Championships

The recent National Veteran Championships, hosted by the Veteran Horse Society, attracted record numbers of attendees this year with competitors doubling in numbers since the 2018 Championships. On the Friday Evening, the Main Arena, was sponsored by the Golden Paste Company, and hosted one of the most popular classes for both competitors and spectators alike, Dressage to Music and Strictly Dress-age.  This year’s points Champion was Claire Rafferty (pictured on the right of judge Lindsay Hancock) with her own Song of the Stars (15) who also went on to win Dressage to Music.  Later in the evening, an unexpected guest...
